New Wind ~ New Moon in Aries & Mercury Direct!

This coming Sunday, April 15, Mercury, the planet of communication and information, stations direct in Aries. On the very same day, a New Moon also in Aries will be plugged into radical Uranus, to offer a stunning surge of energy in a new and possibly unexpected direction.

On a positive note, you may experience a liberating release from your past in some way or a lift up and out of a circumstance that had been weighing you down.

Mars, the ruler of Aries, and Venus are currently moving in simpatico as they travel through earth signs Capricorn and Taurus, gifting you an energy of productivity and a feeling of union, either with another Soul or with respect to a meaningful project you are pursuing.

Direct your intentions well and they will catch fire on the wings of a new wind!

Everything You Need To Know About The Last Blue Moon Of 2018

by The AstroTwins
Astrologers & Best-Selling Authors – March 31, 2018 — 9:25 AM

Relationship check-in time! Peace and harmony is the Libra way—this balanced sign counts Gandhi, John Lennon, and Alfred Nobel (of the Nobel Peace Prize) among its ranks, after all. So typically, a Libra full moon would be the occasion to celebrate our soft spot for all of humankind, passing out olive branches and extending our goodwill.

Since the Libra full moon is the second full moon to fall within the same month (the first one was on March 1), it’s called a blue moon. This lunation is named the full Sap Moon since it’s around this time of year that the sap from maple trees begins to flow.

It’s unusual to have even ONE blue moon in a calendar year, and in 2018 there are two. This is the second blue moon of 2018 (the first was the January 31 Super Blue Blood Moon), a cosmic phenomenon we haven’t witnessed since 1999. But there’s no particular metaphysical meaning to this. It just happens that two of the longer months in this year’s Gregorian calendar had full moons fall on the 1st and the 31st. (Still, expect to see #bluemoon hashtags aplenty on your feeds!)

Partnership-oriented Libra could give us clearer signs about a certain relationship’s potential. Connections that have been percolating since the Libra new moon last October 19 could hit a defining moment. Some couples or business alliances may decide to make their status official while for others, the question may be: Am I in or am I out?

But enjoying the company of another is only half the equation: How secure and connected do you feel when you’re apart? This year’s full moon will be in a loose cardinal T-square to the Sun and Mercury in me-first Aries and structured Saturn in future-focused Capricorn. We must balance our collaborations and commitments with our personal and professional goals. How does a partnership fit with your own long-term plans? Does it also support your growth as an individual?

The Libra full moon may also encourage us to quit wavering and sign on the dotted line. It could be time to make an important alliance official. Sign a contract, accept an offer or partner up. Just make sure you spell out your roles in crystal-clear terms so everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities.

Star-powered tip: Don’t rush! Communication planet Mercury is retrograde from March 22 to April 15, which could cause us to miss a few important points. Read the fine print. Since Libra is ruled by aesthetic Venus, a change of lifestyle and spending habits might be in order, too.

Here are six tips for finding balance at the full Blue Sap Moon in Libra.
1. Attract your opposite.
How can you make your duos even more dynamic? While common ground is great, Libra loves the principle of “opposites attract.” Branch out and work the buddy system with someone who knows how to pick up where you leave off. Complementary skill sets make for a total dream team, even if the matchup seems odd on paper. In truth, these unlikely pairings can be the greatest win-win combinations. If you’re stuck in a rut, don’t autopilot into dialing a BFF who can commiserate. It would be far more productive to reach out to someone new…someone who has conquered the very dragon you’re trying to slay. Creatives, call upon the gear-heads; engineers, reach out to an artiste.

2. Strike a creative compromise.
What’s the difference between hotheaded screaming and productive conflict resolution? We believe it’s the intention behind your “fight.” If both parties, in their hearts, truly want to reach a win-win solution, then all the fighting words will come out in the wash. But if they’re digging in their heels just to win a power struggle, there will be no peace. As Libra Gandhi said, “Honest disagreement is often a good sign of progress.” (He also warned us that “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”) You can still respect the other person’s right to their principles, even if you disagree with them.

Look into your own life: Where do you have conflict or a disagreement? Can you forge a common agenda? Do a little journaling to see if you can discover what each side wants and even brainstorm a creative solution. You might even “role play” and write out the other side’s argument, just to boost your empathy. If you’re willing and able to hash out a creative compromise, use the two weeks following the full moon to get everything onto the negotiating table. Remember: Things don’t have to be split 50/50 in order to feel fair, and trying to force that might be part of the breakdown. Could you divide up responsibilities to play to each person’s strengths?

3. Strive for inner balance across all areas of your life.
As above, so below; as within, so without. At the Libra full moon, check your habits, your home, your diet. Where has balance gone awry? Ask if your once-peaceful sanctuary turned into a noisy hub, perhaps filled with children’s toys or unruly clutter. Strike a compromise: Maybe you can’t feng shui the whole place or relegate the kids to one room. But you CAN carve out a little sanctuary for yourself, order a few TV-free hours, and go to town cleaning up one particularly egregious zone.

Consider your diet and be honest about whether you’ve been going too heavy on the stimulants like caffeine or burning it up with spicy foods. Learn about the pH scale of acid versus alkaline foods, and try to add a few more alkalizing options.

Then, move on to the office. Many of us function on stress and adrenaline at our jobs. Where can you be more awake, conscious, and calm around your finances and work? Libra also rules the lower back, so if you need more spinal support (and many of us do), look into standing desk options.

4. Feed your emotional bank account.
Relationship harmony is a major focus of this Libra full moon. Feeding the “emotional bank account,” as The 7 Habits of Effective People author Stephen Covey calls it, doesn’t require a huge deposit. This week, acknowledging and appreciating the little things that people do can be the glue that seals your bonds. Here are a few magic phrases to try:

“I love the way you X (insert action or trait).”

“I really appreciate the way you X.”

“Thank you for doing X.”

It’s so easy to overlook the wonderful gifts people bring us on a daily basis, but being taken for granted can be a huge buzzkill to romance and friendship. Get the lovefest going by showering people with compliments this week. Do you need to be acknowledged too? There’s nothing wrong with asking for it, but be a giver first.

5. Join aJustice League.”
The scales of justice are the Libra motif, and this full moon shines a bright beam on bias, discrimination, or anything that’s just plain unfair. Speak out and contribute to a social cause. Is someone being bullied in your neighborhood, school, or within your family? Would you like to see your office culture be more inclusive? Are animals being mistreated in your area? Channel the Libra energy of the “peaceful warrior” and do something to help right the wrong.

6. Show your softer side.
Sometimes, all our grandstanding and well-crafted arguments mask very simple emotions: hurt, fear, shame, guilt. Rather than saying “You hurt my feelings” or “I’m sad that we broke up,” it seems easier to stage a tabloid-worthy war, attacking the other person below the belt so they feel the same searing pain we’re too proud to admit that we feel. Recommended viewing, even if you’ve seen it before, is Brené Brown’s TED talk on The Power of Vulnerability.

To bring it all back to the Libra themes of love, togetherness, and connection, we’ll end with a quote from Brené Brown herself: “Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

Full Moon in Virgo ~ Work Your Way There!

We all know that the dream is rarely, if ever, handed to us. It requires grit and a grind to get there. With a Full Moon in Virgo opposing a stellium of Pisces planets, you are going to be shown ever so clearly where you still need to step it up or give something more of yourself. It may require more time on your part or creating a more concentrated focus that supports a long term goal.

The archetype of Virgo also connects to our health on every level or the health of the ones we love, so a reality check along these lines may take place if there is any imbalance in the body. You will find this week that creating a more consistent regimen that supports your long term wishes will have immediate effects, if nothing else, to inspire you to push on.

Transiting Mars in Sagittarius is progressively forming an impressive angle of support to Uranus in Aries in the next few weeks, where your efforts if directed well, can make triple the impact, so direct your energy with a singular intent and focus and you will be blown away by the speed of how fast something manifests.

Something elevating is well within your reach!

Weave in the Dream ~ We’ve Entered Pisces Land!

It has been an intense start to the New Year with Earth events at an all time high and energy peaking in places that push the Soul to grow like never before. We have just come through a two week eclipse window as well and while we are on the other side, the energy is still reverberating.

There are clear signs regarding what needs to change in your life and what connections need to continue to morph in order to make it. You may also be well aware of what personal changes you need to make in order to support your own evolution.

Every noteworthy piece of progress or any kind of measurable success starts with a vision of where you want to be; it starts with a dream. Four planets peruse the skies in sensitive Pisces this week including the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Neptune, the ruler for Pisces. While so much water can have you feeling foggy or uncertain as to how best to direct your energy, it is also an ideal time to weave in more of what you want as you slip into spaces that serve to kindle the dream!

New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius ~ Game Changer!

The earth beneath your feet is unsteady at best, as this is one wildly unpredictable portal in time. Each day that leads to the next is requiring an unusual adaptability on your part, but know that all that is surfacing is serving to show you the truth of something, so you can make the necessary adjustments moving forward,

Any of the old roads will not be remotely possible for you to travel down, but new roads have been cleared and are ready for the soles of your feet. The old comfy security spaces may feel to be unavailable for you to seek refuge, so understand this as a time to find the courage to launch into a new zone which will require you to emotionally step out and into the great unknown.
A New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius on Thursday, Feb. 15, connects with stunning precision to Uranus, the ruler for Aquarius, energizing transformational change in many respects. Uranus rules breakthroughs and freeing yourself from the weight of the past, so the more you cling, the more painful this period may prove to be. On the other hand, it could very well set you free.

Mars will be forming a square to Neptune requiring a need to surrender to higher forces who have a better view of the bigger picture called your life. More is unveiled and unleashed and people in your world may be losing any and all semblance of sanity but this is due to energy that has been repressed and is being forced to the surface.

Mars in Sagittarius will however form a strong angle of support to the North Node in Leo, suggesting key turns will favorably support what holds so much space in your heart. The bravery you may need to take something on will be readily accessible so stay clear on the goal and do not deviate from that central focus.

Wishes for instrumental change that are channeled well hold tremendous power.
From my heart to yours, may you make the best manifest!
