Full Moon in Aries ~ Speak Your Passion in Any Way You Can!

On Thursday, Oct.5, a Full Moon in Aries ignites your innermost passion and yet may also activate areas of repressed anger that you may be holding onto. On the same day, Mars. the ruler for Aries, forms a new phase conjunction in Virgo, initiating a new start in relationships that need some heightened attention or in a new creative or work endeavor that will require your undivided attention.

Mercury in Libra also joins the Sun and as they oppose the Moon, encouraging you to ‘speak your piece’ wherever you have been holding back. There will be little chance for anyone to keep those words at bay, so just make sure they come out in a way that you feel someone can take them all the way in, for hot-headed tendencies may fly.

There is plenty of energy to get something off the ground and moving in a productive direction, allowing you to focus on first things first with Venus stepping in front of Mars and reminding you ever so clearly what holds the most meaning and is calling for your presence and focus.

Ultimately, it is your passion that will take you places this week, so harness that fire and direct it with your will. Great distance can be gained with your efforts now so go the extra mile when and where you can and it will prove to come back to energize you with more!

The Show Must Go On ~ New Moon in Virgo!

“You can’t bribe the door on the way to the sky”, (Harry Styles)
Evolution can take an insane amount of effort. Nothing comes free down here and if you really want to climb to greater heights, there is also a degree of surrender required.
What we do on Earth counts, no matter who is watching or what circumstances you may find yourself in ~ “The show must go on.”

A New Moon in Virgo reminds us of this truth tonight as action Mars along with Mercury, the ruler for Virgo, oppose Neptune in Pisces which can create this elusive feeling of having something just out of reach, or in some cases the feeling that you can’t get a piece of it at all. Master tester Saturn in Sagittarius is also squaring the New Moon.

Mercury swiftly moves on to help you get busy on working out some of the details but Mars continues to oppose Neptune until early next week. It may be a challenge to find your feet in places, the streets of life are slippery when wet, and when the turf is slick, it can be a challenge to feel as if you have any control over the pace of your stride.

A New Moon does signify a new start and a blank slate and fortunately Venus in amorous Leo will form a supportive trine today to Uranus in Aries before she joins the others and enters Virgo, so there is sweet favor in the sky for also unexpectedly getting what you need and for feeling support from friends and loved ones.

Task-master Saturn and change-maker Uranus in Aries will be forming a strong connection for two more months, so lean on this energy when needed. The energies will teach if you put your best foot forward with sustained determination, the breakthroughs you experience will be praise worthy.

Keep your eye on the sky, and do what you know is required to reach new heights, and that door will open all on its own!

The Eclipse Isn’t Over…..not even close!

While Visually the Total Solar Eclipse was viewed on Monday, Aug. 21, the energy is still dramatically playing out in places for a number of reasons.

1. The Eclipse is similar to plucking the string of an instrument, it will resound for weeks and in some cases months following. At the very least, events in August will influence the next six months of your life.

2. Action Mars will reach 28-29 degrees of Leo this weekend at the very same degree as it was on in the day of the Eclipse, serving as another ignition point.

3. Mercury retrogrades back into Leo on Thursday, Aug. 31 and joins Mars this weekend at the same degree of the Eclipse as well and together they favorably align with Uranus in Aries ~ exceptional!

If you did not have a direct experience of the Eclipse, the energy is still vital with an enormous charge and a forward momentum possible.

Five planets were retrograde during the Eclipse. However, Saturn shifted direct on Friday Aug. 25, and Mercury shifts direct on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Events that have already occurred that you thought were dust in the wind, may circle back and surprise you with a re-appearance, giving you a second chance at another go. There is an empowering surge in the sky to help you ‘feel the love’, speak your piece or empower you to take charge of the change you need to see happen in your life,

This week is rich with promise for those who put their whole heart and Soul into the swell of opportunity. Find your favorite wave and ride it to completion!

Awake!

It was an awesome sight… and for a few minutes the world felt quiet and still. No more energies colliding and dividing but a united front with a singular universal focus. An inner peace came over me and it was in this stillness that I felt forever changed. It was a reminder of what it feels like to come together as one and it evoked great emotion and inspiration to press on and rise up wherever and whenever possible.

What was hidden has come to light. What was buried in the subconscious has risen to the surface to be healed, actualized and expressed. Do not underestimate the power of this solar/lunar pair joined together to help bring you into a greater state of conscious awareness.

If you aren’t quite ‘feeling’ it yet, there is still a tremendous amount of accessible energy for two more weeks. Mercury is retrograde in Virgo and will back into the sign of Leo and station direct at the same degree of the Solar Eclipse, 28 Leo, before moving direct again. This period is about collecting information, it’s about conversation, inner exploration and it is about implementation. It’s about making an effort to manifest, rolling up your sleeves where you must, versus waiting or wondering when something will happen.

If you haven’t done so, we are still within a sensitive energetic window to set intentions and follow them up with a plan for your life moving forward. May the force be with you.!

Stay Awake!

NASA ‘DOES THE MATH’ AND INTRODUCES 13TH ZODIAC SIGN

August 19, 2017 – Waking Times

Christina Sarich, Staff Writer – Waking Times

NASA says they’ve done the math, and they’ve recently introduced a new zodiac sign. They’ve thrown ages-old astrology charts totally out of whack with the announcement of Ophiuchus. What used to be utilized by die-hard astrology enthusiasts to plot and plan their lives could now be thought of as heresy.

If ever the New Age advice to “check the stars” before taking action, were counterbalanced with scientific reason, which supposes heavenly bodies have no impact on our lives whatsoever, we’d see we are at odds – these seemingly disparate entities have now entered a new territory of antipathy, or have they?

NASA says they didn’t change any astrological signs. They “just did the math,” and found that there is an additional zodiac sign between Sagittarius and Scorpio, called the “serpent bearer,” because it appears in the middle of the Serpens constellation.

It’s interesting to note that Ophiuchus — located near the celestial equator and one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd-century astronomer Ptolemy — is just one of thousands of possible constellations that could have been “added” to our astrological influences, however, the sign, which wasn’t previously added because the sun barely touches it through its movement in space, is named after a Greek God that handles serpents.

This isn’t exactly new-found knowledge that NASA is divulging either, since the constellation was found more than 3,0000 years ago. So why has NASA chosen to upset astrology charts now with a serpent-bearing addition to the 12 signs?

To find an answer we can look at the mythology behind the sign.

Ophiuchus represented the god Apollo to the Greeks. He “handled” the snake that guarded the Oracle of Delphi at her temple. The Oracle of Delphi was the prophetic priestess Pythia, known for her ESP powers.

Apollo wasn’t too shabby in his own right. He was quite complex and powerful as the son of Zeus, and Titan Leto. He also had powers of divination and moved the sun across the sky every day. So, why was a guy who did these Godly feats removed from our 12-sign astrological charts? Especially considering they are based primarily on the movement of the earth juxtaposed against heavenly bodies and the sun?

There’s the odd fact that the ancient Babylonians created the 12 signs of the zodiac to match their 12-month lunar calendar, but the answer may also lay in Apollo’s relationship to the Oracle. (As an aside, the Babylonians are also credited with creating usury, or the injurious use of interest to enslave people.)

The oracle at Delphi is shrouded in mystery to this day. She spoke for the god Apollo and answered questions for the Greeks about foreign relations, colonization, religion, and power. More notably, the oracle existed long before Apollo found her.

As the story goes, Apollo also “conquered” the oracle’s temple – only two of which are in recorded history, even though myth has it there were at least five temples of the oracle. The Earth mother kept her holy serpent at Delphi. Apollo killed the serpent and then tried to keep the oracle’s powers for himself. This is why Delphi is also known as Pythia – in honor of the killing of the snake.

According to Yahoo News, the new 13-sign calendar plays out like this:

Capricorn: January 20-February 16
Aquarius: February 16-March 11
Pisces: March 11-April 18
Aries: April 18-May 13
Taurus: May 13-June 21
Gemini: June 21-July 20
Cancer: July 20-August 10
Leo: August 10-September 16
Virgo: September 16-October 30
Libra: October 30-November 23
Scorpio: November 23-November 29
Ophiuchus: November 29-December 17
Sagittarius: December 17-January 20

So, is NASA’s “math” accurate, or are we to dismiss the contemporary zodiac? Does the zodiac affect us at all, anyhow?

What affects us may not be so much the calculations and alignment of the heavenly bodies, but what we’ve accepted as our own myth – what Joseph Campbell would term our “call to duty,” or rites of passage.

These myths – insinuated by powerful forces and carried in our own psyches for millennia – outline deep archetypal emotions and hardships we all must face to become spiritually realized.

In an interview with Bill Moyers, Campbell responds to the reference:

“Genesis 1: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep.”

Campbell says,

“This is the song of the world, from a legend of the Pima Indians: “In the beginning there was only darkness everywhere, darkness and water. And the darkness gathered thick in places, crowding together and then separating, crowding and separating.”

Moyers retorts,

“And the spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters, and God said, ‘Let there be light.’”

Campbell responds,

“This is from the Hindu Upanishad: “In the beginning there was only the great self, reflected in the form of a person. Reflecting, it found nothing but itself, and its first word was, ‘This am I.’”
We could carry out these creation stories into every known culture that ever existed in this world – and likely others, however, the heaven’s and the earth reflect what is within us. Is astrology a science, pseudoscience, or an art?

Is NASA’s addition of a 13th zodiac of any consequence? The more important question may be what is NASA trying to communicate to the collective consciousness. What mythology is being offered for us to confirm or deny?

To quote from Campbell once more,

“These bits of information from ancient times, which have to do with the themes that have supported man’s life, built civilizations, informed religions over the millennia, have to do with deep inner problems, inner mysteries, inner thresholds of passage and if you don’t know what the guide signs are along the way, you have to work it out yourself.”

Total Solar Eclipse in Leo ~ Monday, August 21!

The long awaited Total Solar Eclipses, also known as the Great American Eclipse is days away, occurring at 10:16 am pacific time on Monday, August 21, 2017. The Moon will totally eclipse the Sun’s rays, casting a shadow upon the Earth and will last up to 2 minutes and 40-plus seconds in places.

Total Solar Eclipses occur every year or two or three, often in the middle of nowhere like the South Pacific or Antarctic. What makes the Aug. 21 eclipse so special is that it will cut diagonally across the entire United States. As I mentioned last week, an eclipse of this nature has not been visible in this way in the United States since before 1776. While this Eclipse will be felt around the world, the energy will be felt in full along the lines where the Eclipse can be seen in totality.

Any New Moon, which we experience once a month, is an opportunity to wipe a slate clean and start anew. It’s an ideal day to launch new endeavors and to change what you feel has become old, tired and outmoded. But this New Moon carries extra electricity and speed. It is not only a Eclipse, but a TOTAL Eclipse, which energetically speaking is similar to a New Moon on steroids, with enough juice for breaking records of personal and collective impact..

On the day of the Total Eclipse, the Sun and the Moon in Leo are forming a Grand Fire Trine with Saturn in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries, serving as a catalyst for electric change that can be sustained.

Uranus, the planet governing radical change, is in Aries and apart from being an integral facilitator for helping you manifest the breakthrough you need, Uranus is also squaring Venus in Cancer, which can create an added push of discomfort as the unexpected may surface and surprise.

However, Mars, the ruler for Aries, is in Leo and combining beautifully to Jupiter, energizing a NATURAL COURAGE with a keen compass and a spirit of optimism for your journey ahead,

Set your intentions this week, starting with what you can do to make this a better world and this cosmic blast will have your back!

Change of Heart ~ Venus Makes a Smooth Move!

Loving Venus, the planet that can allow for a welcome relief, is in Gemini and has moved into forming supportive angles to the Nodes, those symbols that connect to your past and your future, upon entering this forecast week.

Being that she is in Gemini, you may be feeling torn between two choices in some cases. It will require you to ask more questions before you can arrive at a firm decision and direction. Venus will also require you to ask for what it is that you need, in order for you to have a sure shot at getting it.

Mercury, the ruler for Gemini, enters Virgo this evening in the west, suggesting that in some cases, there may be some concern or worry involving this request, perhaps even doubt that another will respond favorably.

However, Venus is offering clever solutions to old issues and if you make room for a change of heart, you may very well be surprised at what presents itself.
