Mercury Stations Direct in Sagittarius ~ Gradual Climb into the New Year!

If you are feeling like this New Year has not quite gotten off the ground, and you are still working in reverse, you are not alone, as Mercury, the planet of communication, is still retrograde in Capricorn and is slowing to a stop..

Mercury retrograde in Capricorn allows you to reflect upon your life and your past with a fine tooth comb and with a vision that is rooted in reality, so you can move more clearly and confidently into your future.

This energy serves to help you strategize for the coming long term future regarding anything that requires a total commitment on your part and anything that may be contractually binding, intentions that you have where you want to set something in stone.

You may also have been experiencing setbacks and delays that in some cases may be weather related, illness, or it could simply be that an overhaul or reboot needs to happen and this is creating a slower start to the New Year, Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 4, Mercury backs out of Capricorn and into Sagittarius and will then station direct on Sunday, Jan 8. Mercury re-enters Capricorn on Thursday, Jan.12, and will finally clear its shadow of the retrograde on Friday, Jan. 27. Interestingly, Mars, the planet of action, leaves Pisces the same day and enters Aries, the sign of new beginnings.

In essence, nearly the entire month of January could feel like you are working your way back to a place you have been before, but this time you want it better than it was before. With this in mind, don’t force it if you don’t have to, allow yourself to travel where you must, inwardly as well as out there in the world, so you can feel complete, and therefore ready for the NEW.
